Our Story

PEHRIVA — the art of Indian dressing — was born in Sanganer, a small town on the edge of Jaipur that has been printing cloth by hand for more than 500 years.
The heritage of Sanganer
Sanganeri prints are known for their fine florals, delicate buti and graceful jaal patterns on white and pastel grounds. Each motif is carved by hand into a teak wood block, dipped in colour, and pressed onto fabric one impression at a time. A single kurti can carry hundreds of these impressions.
Designed where it's made
Our studio sits in Shiv Vihar Colony, near the Sanga Setu bridge — minutes from the printing tables. We design every kurti and kurta set here, working closely with local craftspeople, and bring it straight to you without the middlemen.
